June 9 The Branding

Today June 9, we hiked up the entrance road under sunny skies and a bit of wind as usual.  It was a great chance to get a picture of the Reesor Ranch form a good vantage point.  It also helped us kill time until the branding started in the afternoon.  From the top of the road we could see the calves being rounded up and herded towards the corral in preparation for their baptism.
