July saw us take a quick trip to Edmonton but we didn't have much time for taking pictures.  A trip to Boundary Bay in Delta, BC got us our first shorebirds of the return migration.  A young Pileated Woodpecker flew in but not close enough for a good shot.  I wish it was in better light and location as it would have made a great subject with that coiffure.
