Day 4 was a day to shop and relax. We found a few birds before we hit the supermarket and recorded them with day 3. Some not recorded in pictures were Gray-headed Chachalaca, Great Egret and Cattle Egret.

Len and Dian: That Three wattled Bellbird is a real find, and seemingly easy ( for you ). I'll have to bookmark that location in case I ever make it back to that region. I looked for it in that same general area in Panama two years ago but no luck. Your fellow Fraser Valley birder, Dave Beeke found the bellbird and the Umbrellabird in Costa Rica last year; ( same time of year, and similar habitat ). I also saw the latter there. So there's your next challenge. I remember our Costa Rican guide was so excited to see the Umbrellabird, he was almost in tears. With your luck you'll probably find it tomorrow!!!! Good luck and have fun.
