Our time here is narrowing down to a week remaining so we hired a guide. We were supposed to leave this morning to explore new locations. However very strong winds came up overnight and we barely got any sleep. We regretfully postponed our trip until Saturday. The following pictures are some of the birds seen over the last 3 days with locations indicated.

Pale Vented Pigeons Cottage |
There were literally 1000's of Swainsons Hawks kettling over our cottage March 20. |
They are migrating north. |
This is just a fraction of the migrating flock as they head north from Argentina on their 6000 mile flight. It is one of the most spectacular sights I have seen. |
White-tipped Dove |
Bronzed Cowbird Tree Trek |
Collared Redstart Tree Trek |
Blue and White Swallow (black undertail coverts to separate it from Tree Swallow) Tree Trek |
Boat-billed Flycatcher Caldera. Compare with Great Kiskadee below. |

Common Today-flycatcher Rio Encontado. |
Crimson-backed Tanager Rio Encontado. |
Lesser Greenlet Rio Encontado. |
Palm Tanager Caldera. |
Ruddy Ground Dove Caldera |
Yellow-green Vireo. Rio Encontado. Almost like a Red-eyed Vireo but lacks the more distinctive facial pattern of the Red-eyed Vireo. |
Lovely photos each one of them but that bat falcon is impressive
